“Incarnato – Et amare amabam” trae spunto dalle “Confessioni “ di St. Agostino. Il lavoro vuole rappresentare la relazione tra carne e santità tramite ritratti immaginari di martiri cattolici, divinità greche, egiziane, e scandinave e le santità sincretiche brasiliane e cubane.
Inacarnate – Et amare amabam” (“we loved to love”) from St. Augustine’s “Confessions.” It concerns the representation of the relationship between flesh and holiness. Imaginary portraits of Catholic martyrs, Greek, Egyptian and Scandinavian gods, Brazilian and Cuban Santeria will be displayed in diptych format.
